Welcome to Lee's "Partner in Crimes" page. I actually go by Kristin and will try to keep you up to date on most things contemporary; books, television shows, movies, and maybe some music too. Lee and I want this website to be unique and informative. We encourage polite discussions. I don't speak for Lee, but I believe in following the Golden Rule. Besides contributing to this website, I am a storyteller, book-builder, and avid reader. I depend on the voices in my head to lead me and depending on what they tell me, I could be typing away on a romance, NA contemporary, erotica, or my new endeavor, psychological thrillers.
As far as my background, it's a jumbled mess. I have been writing for about five years now. I have three very rough drafts of works in progress. I also suffer from an overwhelming amount of anxiety which has stopped me from completing these books. However, at least one of them will be published this year. I have a Bachelor's in General Studies, but only General Studies because of a tragedy that struck our home before my last semester in Nursing. At this point in my story, all I will say is that I suffer from multiple chronic illnesses and severe depression and anxiety, so you see where the picture above fits in my life. Writing and editing have saved me in so many ways.
As mentioned above, I have taken on a role as an editor in the past couple of years. I've had the honor of working with some great authors, including Lee. I love perusing other's works and seeing where I can make a difference. I hoped some experience would allow me to enjoy revising my works in progress. I was wrong. I have learned so much and I encourage beginning writers to get well acquainted with the Chicago Manuel of Style and know the rules pertaining to your specific area of the world. There are many differences between American English and British English. I've come to be fascinated with something new every day. I will include a link to my editing site soon.
Lee and I met online and have been writing together for nearly four years. We've become friends and have so much in common; yet, she loves all things historical and gothic. I love my fantasy worlds, rock stars, and paranormal fiction. We do both have a great affinity for the thriller genre. I hope you will grow to love this blog as I do. We'll keep things unique and try to maintain a beautiful place for you to visit and read an article or two.
I loved it!
